Hi! I hope I’m not in your face, but you wrote a plugin for Writer LIve, that I just installed, called Generate Tags. It opens up alright, but as soon as I click on Generate, to generate tags, it seizes up and ask me to send error report to MSN.

Thank you for your comments and letting me know. The plugin has worked well for others and for myself. What OS are you using? Are you using a 64-bit platform? This was written a couple of years ago, so wondering if there are some modifications that need to be made to work with your system.

Also using your Generate Tags plugin for Windows Live Writer, and I love it.
I’ve been using it on my new blog, but for some reason, one particular post is giving it trouble.
When I click the Generate button on the plugin popup, it just freezes, forcing me to kill the Live Writer process.
Was hoping you could take a look.

As you can see, all of the other posts on the blog have had their tags generated with no issues.
I know I’m using a special character in there, not sure if that’s tripping it up.
Using it on Win7 Ultimate x64.

I read your piece about boundaries and used a short quote in a presentation I gave but was unable to provide the source. Would you let me know please who wrote it? (See below) thank you!

Hi Kelly,
I have to add my request to update your Generage Tags plug-in for Live Writer. It worked great for me at first, but now it crashes Live Writer every time I attempt to generate tags. I’m using Windows 7 Home 64-bit. I tried re-installing it, but that didn’t work either. Is there something I can do on my end to get it workin again? I really loved your plug-in.
